Do students need to already speak English? No. Beginner classes are designed to support students who are just starting English.

Lessons use visuals, repetition, guided speaking, games, gestures, and structured support to help students gradually build confidence communicating in English.

Students are never expected to produce language they have not already practiced and learned.

How do online classes work?Classes are taught live online through Zoom using interactive activities, guided speaking practice, games, discussions, collaborative tasks, presentations, reading activities, and shared materials.

Depending on the class type, students may work individually, in pairs, breakout rooms, or small groups to maximize participation and speaking opportunities.

What device is recommended?A computer or tablet with camera and microphone is strongly recommended for the best class experience.

Phones may be difficult for interactive activities, reading tasks, games, breakout rooms, or collaborative work.

Students should also have:
• a stable internet connection
• a quiet learning environment when possible
• headphones optional but recommended for some learners

How many students are in each class?Class size depends on the course type.

Typical class sizes:
• Explorer Groups: up to 12 students
• Family Classes: one household per device
• A1-B2 Classes: 4 - 6 students smaller groups for individualized support
• Speaking and Cambridge Classes: 4 - 6 students small groups designed to maximize participation

Private and partner classes are also available.

What is the difference between private and group classes?Private classes provide individualized pacing, personalized feedback, and flexible lesson focus based on the student’s goals and needs.

Group classes provide opportunities for communication, collaboration, pair work, discussion, games, and interaction with other learners while building confidence using English socially.

Partner classes combine personalized attention with interactive communication practice.

Will students actually speak during class?Yes. Classes are designed to maximize active participation and meaningful communication.

Students regularly practice:
• answering and asking questions
• expressing ideas and opinions
• participating in discussions
• collaborative speaking activities
• presentations and guided conversations

Activities are structured to support participation while helping students gradually build confidence speaking English.

What if my child is shy or nervous?Students are encouraged and supported gradually. Participation expectations are adjusted appropriately based on age, confidence, and level.

Many students become more comfortable participating over time as they build familiarity with classroom routines, classmates, and language structures.

How do I contact you about placement or classes?Families and students may:
• complete the placement form
• message directly through WhatsApp
• contact by email for class recommendations and scheduling questions

What is the cancellation and missed class policy? Please communicate as early as possible if a student will miss class.

Private classes require at least 48 hours notice for rescheduling requests. One rescheduled class is permitted during each 8-week class period, subject to scheduling availability.

Partner and group classes generally cannot be rescheduled individually because schedules and class continuity depend on multiple students participating together.

To maintain consistent progress and class placement, all classes purchased as part of an 8-week period must be completed within 2 months of the original purchase date. Unused classes do not roll over indefinitely.

Repeated absences or last-minute cancellations may affect scheduling availability and class continuity.

Additional policy details and scheduling expectations will be shared during registration and placement.

When do classes start?Group classes generally have scheduled start dates listed in advance. However, some classes may be postponed slightly until minimum enrollment is reached to ensure an effective group learning environment.

Families and students will be updated about scheduling and confirmed start dates as enrollment develops.

Private classes may offer more flexible scheduling depending on availability.
